The following incidents were reported to the Prescott Police Department July 18-23.

Monday, July 18 Jenny Lorraine Anderson, 45, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:26 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

At 4:35 p.m., police took a report on threats being made at 116 Broad St.

Peyton Prugh Johnson,

19, St. Paul, was arrested for possession of THC and possession of synthetic cannabinoid after a traffic stop at 9:14 p.m. in the 200 block of Broad Street. A 17-year-old Hampton, Minn. juvenile was cited for possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia.

Tuesday, July 19

At 3:34 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious person had been in his yard at 302 N. Elm St. around 10 p.m. on July 17. Extra patrol was requested.

Two catalytic converters were reported stolen at 4:17 p.m. at 555 Monroe St.

Officers responded to a verbal domestic at 8:11 p.m. at 316 S. Locust St. The parties agreed to separate for the night.

Suspicious activity was reported at 10:09 p.m. at 1041 Orrin Road. Nothing was located.

Wednesday, July 20 Osmani Benito Moreno, 59, Clewiston, Fla., was cited for failure to obey traffic officer/ signal and operating left of center line after a traffic stop at 8 a.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.

A caller reported an abandoned dog at 11:31 a.m. at 287 S. Young St. The residents still occupied the residence.

Tiva Elaine Winecoff, 21, St. Louis Park, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 6:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street.

Joshua Blain Nolting,

39, Apple Valley, Minn., was cited for a boat launch fee/ parking violation at 7:34 p.m. at Front and Ash streets.

Charity Joy Vaillancourt,

38, St. Paul, was cited for a boat launch fee/parking violation at 7:44 p.m. at Front and Ash streets.

Timothy Michael Carroll,

32, Prior Lake, Minn., was cited for a boat launch fee/ parking violation at 7:50 p.m. at Front and Ash streets.

At 10:20 p.m., an officer found graffiti in the women’s and men’s restrooms at the public beach (805 Lake St.)

Thursday, July 21

At 12:02 a.m., police found three open doors at 154 Broad St. Officers made sure no one was inside and informed the property owner.

Carlos Antonio Vicke Chiquini, 39, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop 12:46 a.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street. He was also warned for speeding.

Patrick Hugo Dean Livingston, 20, Saint Michael, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 1:03 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

Robert Chad Redding,

23, Maiden Rock, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:27 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

Police checked on a possible abandoned dog again at 8:15 a.m. at 287 S. Young St. The dog was not abandoned.

Faith Frances Gotmer, 27, Cloquet, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:57 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

Mitzi Yunuen Krantz,

40, La Crosse, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:10 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

An officer found graffiti in the bathroom at the public beach (805 Lake St.) at 10:16 p.m.

Police performed a welfare check at 10:21 p.m. at Ptacek’s (1005 Eagle Ridge Drive). The person was turned over to a responsible party.

Friday, July 22 Bridget Farrah Kopren, 22, North St. Paul, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license and speeding after a traffic stop at midnight at Highway 10 and Lake Street.

Raeisah Tashianna Clark,

21, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:03 a.m. at Jefferson Street and Water Treatment Road.

An officer heard fireworks at 3:37 a.m. in the area of Cherry and Dakota streets. None were located.

Jack Daniel Marcy, 21, River Falls, was cited for operating while suspended, operate motorcycle without valid license and operating a motor vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop at 1:25 p.m. at Orrin Road and Campbell Street.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 6:21 p.m. at Monroe and Laura streets between a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by Ruth Hall, 55, Prescott, and a 2013 Chevy Cruze, driven by Sydney Ann Matzek, Prescott. Hall stopped at a stop sign on Laura Street and Matzek was heading north on Monroe Street. Hall looked both ways before crossing, but failed to yield to Matzek and struck her vehicle. The Santa Fe had minor damage, but Matzek’s vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Hall was cited for meeting of vehicle – wrong side. There were no injuries reported.

Saturday, July 23 Trenton Paul Hamilton, 23, Hutchinson, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 1:08 a.m. at Broad and Orange streets.

Officers checked on someone sleeping in the back seat of a vehicle at 2:08 a.m. at 117 Broad St. The person was waiting for his friends.

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at 9:22 p.m. on Highway 10 just east of Pearl Street between a 2011 Chevy Equinox, driven by Christopher Charles Reynolds, Prescott, and a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover, driven by Elias James Cahill Peltier, Farmington, Minn. Reynolds, who was heading west on Highway 10, ran off the roadway, striking Peltier’s vehicle, which was heading east. Both vehicles were towed due to disabling damage. An ambulance took Reynolds to Regina Hospital in Hastings, Minn. with suspected serious injuries; he had been wearing a seat belt. Peltier and his passenger, Jordan Tyler Sheppard, wore seat belts and reported no injuries.
