The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Sept. 30 is Prescott High School junior Andaria Henderson, who was nominated by English teacher Tania Novak.
“I am blessed to have Andaria in both English III and Creative Writing during the first trimester,” Novak said. “She is an exceptionally strong English student, and she never shies from asking for help or participating in class. Andaria has amazing creativity that shines through her written words, making her narratives come to life, and her enthusiasm for reading and analyzing literature is shown through her leadership during classroom discussions. Andaria is well deserving of being recognized as an outstanding PHS student.”
Andaria is the child of Amil & Carla Henderson. She enjoys gardening, reading, writing, drawing with calligraphy pens and taking care of her pets and siblings. She is also a member of Writer’s Block.
She is debating going to college, but knows she wants to do something with writing or landscaping.
