Initial appearances Aydan James Anderson,

18, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded not guilty and was ordered to pay $200 cash bail on possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges July 18. A status conference is slated for 2:45 p.m. Aug. 22.

Lucas John Edward Armstrong, 47, Hager City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond July 18 on take/drive vehicle without consent – abandon vehicle (as party to a crime) and resisting or obstructing an officer charges. In a separate case, he posted a $10,000 signature bond July 18 on felony OWI-fourth, felony operating with PAC-fourth and operate without valid license (third within three years) charges. A status conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23.

Mitchel Jay Berenschot,

19, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond on disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property charges July 18. A status conference is set for 2:30 p.m. Aug. 22.

Cole James Borowicz, 32, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond July 18 on misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct charges. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Aug. 10.

James A. Buechner, 43, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond July 18 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A status conference is slated for 10:30 a.m. Aug. 22.

Joshua Brantley Gard, 30, Bay City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond July 14 on criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges. A status conference is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. Aug. 16.

Trevor Daniel Hei, 30, Ellsworth, posted a $10,000 signature bond July 18 on a felony OWI-fourth charge. A preliminary hearing is slated for 2:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

Scott Michael Hotchkiss,

34, South St. Paul, Minn., posted a $5,000 signature bond July 18 on felony burglary – building or dwelling and felony possession of burglarious tools charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Aug. 31.

Brady A. Kennedy, 19, Athens, posted a $10,000 signature bond July 18 on a felony exposing genitals/ pubic area/intimate parts to child charge. A status conference is slated for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 15.

Tanner M. Marko, 27, Prescott, posted a $10,000 signature bond July 18 on felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor bail jumping and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 2 p.m. Aug. 31.

James J. Oricchio, 51, Ellsworth, posted a $10,000 signature bond July 19 on felony strangulation or suffocation, disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 30.

Andrew Joseph Schlosser, 19, Elmwood, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond July 18 on possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is slated for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 19.

Eric Duwayne Taylor, 17, Bay City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond July 18 on possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is set for 2 p.m. Aug. 22.

Lloyd Albert Theodore Weller, 40, Cannon Falls, Minn., posted a $5,000 signature bond July 13 on felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC and operate without valid license (second within three years) charges. A preliminary hearing is slated for 10 a.m. Aug. 30.

Deferred cases Amy Jo Bishop, 42, Ellsworth, was convicted of theft – movable property, sentenced to one year of probation and fined $443 July 18. She pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony burglary – building or dwelling charge. Information was filed on two criminal damage to property (as party to a crime) charges. The charges stemmed from a Jan. 13, 2021 incident.

Tanya Marie Cafarelli- Rud, 44, Apple Valley, Minn., pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on two disorderly conduct charges July 19. Possess amphetamine/ LSD/psilocin, resisting or obstructing an officer and possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a May 8, 2021 incident.

A deferred judgment of conviction agreement for Kate Irene Oney, 41, South St. Paul, Minn., on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge was reinstated July 13. It had been revoked June 3. The charge stemmed from an Aug. 4, 2018 incident.

Tiffany Marie Rother,

28, Hastings, Minn., pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a disorderly conduct charge July 18. A felony aggravated battery – intend bodily harm charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a Feb. 7, 2021 incident.
