Deputies responded to an ATV crash at 8:35 p.m. Saturday, July 16 near 790th Street and 490th Avenue on private property in the town of Trimbelle. A 14-year-old Ellsworth female had been operating a 2004 Polaris ATV when she lost control while negotiating a turn and was thrown from the machine. Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service transported her to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, Minn., with undisclosed injuries. Ellsworth Area Ambulance, Ellsworth Fire and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted Pierce County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.

Police responded at 4:33 p.m. Saturday, July 23 to a single-motorcycle crash on State Highway 29 near 690th Avenue in the town of Clifton.

Matthew Thomas, 53, South Range, was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson eastbound on Highway 29 when he lost control and entered the south ditch. Allina Health Ambulance Service transported Thomas to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undisclosed injuries. Prescott Fire and Prescott Police Department also assisted PCSO at the scene.

Officers responded at 10:51 a.m. Sunday, July 24 to a single-motorcycle with injury on County Road O near 430th Avenue in the town of Trimbelle. Jonathan Hendrickson, 53, Lake Elmo, Minn., was operating a 2009 Harley Davidson southbound on County Road O when a deer entered the road and struck the motorcycle. He lost control and came to a final rest in the east ditch. Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service transported Hendrickson to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, Minn. with undisclosed injuries. Ellsworth Fire also assisted PCSO at the scene.
