Wednesday, July 27 Totally Turtles Animal Show, 1 p.m., Summit Park. Join the Ellsworth Public Library to learn what makes turtles so unique. See five different species close up and learn turtle facts. All are welcome. Rain location: Zion Covenant Church (210 N. Beulah St.)

Thursday, July 28 Ellsworth Chamber Member Meeting, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Ellsworth Country Club (W6920 Golf Course Lane, Ellsworth). Learn about the Free Clinic of Pierce and St. Croix County. Join us as Clinic Manager Mary Steele puts a face to the uninsured in our region and shares the important role the clinic pays in providing health care. Register by visiting ellsworthchamber. com Poolside Story Time, 2:30 p.m., Klaas-Jonas Community Pool (312 Panther Drive, Ellsworth). Join Ms. Caroline from the Ellsworth Public Library for a story time during afternoon swim breaks. Subject to change based on weather or pool-related schedule changes.

Summer Park Program,

3-4 p.m., Prescott Lions Public Square Park (across from Prescott Middle School). For ages 9-14. Each week a local organization will host an activity (or more) for kids. Connect with friends and have fun. The program is free thanks to weekly sponsors. Check the Facebook event page (Prescott Summer Park Program) for information on each week’s activities and if there are any cancellations.

Rock Elm Ice Cream Social,

4 p.m., Rock Elm United Methodist Church (N5591 170th St., Elmwood). Drive-thru or takeout only. Celebrating 127 years! Homemade pie and ice cream, bring a cooler!

Summer Fun Series, 4-7 p.m., East End Park, Ellsworth. Browse a variety of farm, artisan and craft vendors at the Ellsworth Farmers Market, enjoy food from local food trucks, take part in family friendly activities and listen to live music from local bands and musicians.

Music in the Park, 7 p.m., Veterans Park, downtown River Falls. Community Arts Base presents Trent Romens Band, blues rock and fun with a whole lot of jamming.

Friday, July 29-Sunday, July 31 Elmwood UFO Days, celebration includes craft/vendor market, paper plate airplane drop, parade, live music, souvenir stand, UFO sightings tour and more.

Saturday, July 30 Tubing for the Arts, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., starting at Vino in the Valley (W3826 450th Ave., Maiden Rock). This event, hosted by E-Town Arts, Ellsworth E3 Community Development Corporation and Brush Strokes Art Supply, will be the first of its kind down the Rush River. You will be shuttled up to the drop off point for a fun adventure down the Rush back to Vino. Funds raised will start the Ellsworth Mural Walk.
