Senior Gathering Place activities

I am hoping all Gathering Place members got their email from Penny Peterson regarding the continued closing of the Gathering Place due to construction. With the 4th of July holiday, things slowed down at the middle school with construction work. 
Right now all activities will be at the First National Bank Community Room until further notice. Tentative reopening of the Gathering Place will now be July 16. Keep an eye on your email as Penny will send out emails to let us know when we reopen. 
Wednesday, July 10: Join your frien ds for Euchre at 12:30 p.m. or Bridge at 1 p.m. 

Thursday, July 11: Canasta card game will start at 12:30 p.m. Art 101 meets at 1 p.m., bring $2 supply fee. 

Tuesday, July 16: Walking Group meets at 9 a.m. at Prescott Middle School parking lot. Pickleball meets at Lions Park on Elm Street. Mahjongg meets at 9 a.m.; all skill levels are welcome. Bring your dimes and play Left, Right, Center, a fun dice game at 1 p.m. 

Wednesday, July 17: The Program and Publicity Committee meeting will be at 10 a.m. Euchre card game will be played at 12:30 p.m. and Bridge will be played at 1 p.m. 

Thursday, July 18: Boating on the Mississippi Pontoon ride from 1-3 p.m. Cost is $10/person. Limited to 10 people, must be preregistered.  

Friday, July 19: Memory Café will meet 10-11:30 a.m. at Freedom Park.  

There will be a second pontoon ride on the Mississippi from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, July 23. Cost is $10 per person; limited to 10 people, preregistration required. 
Prescott Senior Gathering Place activities are open to all seniors age 55 and older. Our usual location is at the Prescott Middle School at 1220 St. Croix St. Once the construction is done this summer we will be back at the middle school.
