To the editor,
Thanks to the nearly 100 people who came to the Prescott Area Historical Society’s Celebrate Prescott Event, featuring the amazing Chris Faltiesek. A walk-through Prescott history was enjoyed by all. The Prescott Area Historical Society and our big brother, the Pierce County Historical Association, have worked diligently to research, preserve, and present our local history and we hope to continue to get better. A special thanks to Dr. Donald Schueller for his bagpipe performance. Our hosts were Joy Lutheran and their tech Lee Northouse who allowed us to use their beautiful facility. We hope to be able to give more of these presentations in the future. Our Schools of Prescott exhibits will be running until the end of November, so stop in for a tour. Be well and do good things.
