Among Friends, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 110 S. Third St., River Falls. A social respite program serving seniors residing in Pierce and St. Croix counties who are facing memory changes or physical limitations. Wednesday, July 17 

Prescott Chamber Night Out, 4:30 p.m., Philander’s (1000 Highway 10, Prescott). Sign up is 4:30-6 p.m. at Philander’s. Visit participating chamber restaurants and bars; make sure to find the bunny at each location and have it signed off on. When done, join everyone at the Prescott American Legion for a taco bar and dessert. For everyone who gets at least five stops a poker hand will be dealt and best hand wins! There will be a shuttle making stops at Philander’s, the Legion and downtown.  

Community Concert, 5 p.m., Quinn Motors of Ellsworth (405 W. Main St., Ellsworth). Quinn Motors is celebrating its 105th anniversary with live music by Trapper Schoepp and Brooke Elizabeth, food trucks and more. This free event is open to all. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, friends and family. Rain date is July 18.

Craft Day, 1-4 p.m., Elmwood Public Library (111 N. Main St.) A new craft each week! Paint, glue, recycled and upcycled materials, and buddings artists at work.  

Summer Fun Series, 5-7 p.m., East End Park, Ellsworth. Join the Ellsworth Chamber and several generous community organizations and businesses for a fun evening of entertainment and activities! From live music to family friendly activities to art-in-the-park and themed events, watch for details weekly. Visit the Ellsworth Farmers Market for locally grown produce, baked goods and crafts. 

Mayor’s Cookout, 6-7:30 p.m., Glen Park (361 W. Park St., River Falls). Enjoy a free meal, celebrate our neighborhood parks, meet new people and get to know your elected officials in a laid-back setting. All are welcome. 

 

Friday, July 19 

Kids From Wisconsin, 7 p.m., Wall Amphitheatre (UW-River Falls campus). The 56th Kids troupe showcases “Larger than Life” performing artists in a highly energized production. Event is free.  

 

Saturday, July 20 

50th annual Stockholm Art Fair, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Stockholm Village ark. Featuring over 90 new and returning juried artists featuring pottery, sculpture, jewelry, painting, printmaking, photography, fiber, wood, glass and folk art. Live music and food vendors, children’s artmaking activity booth, free parking and shuttle.

Movie Day, 1 p.m., Elmwood Public Library (111 N. Main St.) A new kids movie each week! Join us for movies, popcorn and whenever possible, the book that inspired the movie!

Music in the Park, 6:30-8 p.m., Freedom Park (200 Monroe St., Prescott). Featuring 23 Watts (all purpose rock ‘n roll). Rain or shine! Pack a blanket or a lawn chair. Food trucks and a Freedom Park bar 6-8 p.m.

Reggae Fest, 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, and 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Harbor Bar (N673 825th St., Hager City). Providing live music to the Upper Mississippi River area for 60 years.

Science Explorers, 4 p.m., Prescott Public Library (800 Borner St. N., Prescott). Exciting, collaborative experiments for young scientists! This month we will explore Milk Into Plastic. Geared toward ages 8-12.  

 

Sunday, July 28 

46th Annual Car Show & Swap Meet, 8 a.m., Pierce County Fairgrounds (364 N. Maple St., Ellsworth). Beldenville Old Car Club hosts with 16 judged classes plus Show & Shine, Trophies awarded at 3 p.m., live music 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., food available for purchase.
