PRESCOTT – Fall has made its presence known with the leaves beautifully turning, chilly mornings and pumpkins everywhere. Many reasons to be out and about and joining friends at the Gathering Place.
Coming activities:

Wednesday, Oct. 16: Program and Publicity meeting at 10:15 a.m. Cards will be played from 12:30-3:30 p.m.; come join other members for Bridge, Euchre, 500 or game of your choice.

Thursday, Oct. 17: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. in the gym at the Intermediate School, outside at the Lions Park courts if the weather is good. At 1 p.m., we will show the movie “Knives Out,” an entertaining Agatha Christie type mystery for all.

Friday, Oct. 18: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank lower level community room.

Tuesday, Oct. 22: Pickleball will be played at 8:30 a.m. in the Intermediate School gym, outside at Lions Park if the weather permits. Walking Group meets at the Gathering Place at 9 a.m. Book Club meets at 1 p.m.to discuss this month’s book “The Elephant Whisperer” by Lawrence Anthony.

Wednesday, Oct. 23: Join Gathering Place members from 12:30-3:30 p.m. for cards; Euchre, Bridge, 500 or game of your choice will be played.

Thursday, Oct. 24: At 1 p.m., Jane White from the Pierce County ADRC will speak on Medicare open enrollment. All are welcome.
Senior Gathering Place is open to all seniors 55 and older. We are located at 1220 St. Croix St. (Door 5 of the Prescott Middle School). Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. with occasional morning activities. All seniors are welcome to come check us out! Hope to see you soon.
