RIVER FALLS - Stage and Screen Productions at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls will present “Night of the Living Dead” Oct. 25-28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Blanche Davis Theatre in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building.
A group of strangers hole up in an abandoned farmhouse while ghoulish victims of mysterious rays from outer space lumber menacingly about the countryside. UWRF’s “Night of the Living Dead” is an immersive experience where audience members will travel with sinister characters through eerie scenes on their way to enjoy a stage adaptation of the classic horror film.
This production of “Night of the Living Dead” has been adapted from the 1968 George A. Romero/John Russo film by UWRF student Xander Lyndon-Racho. It is directed by Kathy Welch.
Tickets are $10/adults, $8/seniors (60 and up), and $5/those under 18 and UWRF students. Purchase tickets online at https://marketplace.uwrf.edu/collections/theatre-productions-2023-24 or in person at the Box Office in the lobby of Kleinpell Fine Arts. The Box Office is open weekdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. beginning Oct. 18, and it also open at 6:30 p.m. on show nights. Call the Box Office at 715-425-3114 for more information.
