Mary Rose Madland, age 74, of Spring Valley, Wis., formerly of Cottage Grove, Minn., passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sept. 26, 2024. Preceded by husband Roger Madland; father, Robert Beard; and brothers, Patrick and Mark. Survived by her mother, Rosemary; siblings, Terri, Toni, John, and Margaret; children, Christopher, Erik (Sarah), Anthony (Stevi), Nicolas, and Kathleen; grandchildren, Emma, Malena, Anya, Jacob, Everett, and Katrina. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose endless love and generosity never wavered. Mary was a special education teacher for 38 years and touched many lives with her kindness, empathy, and compassion.
