The car show and vendor market downtown Prescott on Saturday, Sept. 7 was hopping with people on the beautiful sunshiny day. Broadway Street was lined with booths and classic cars.

Alinea Bolinske, 12, and Ellie Bolinske ,11, of Minneapolis, had a handmade jewelry stand on Broadway Street during Prescott Daze on Saturday, Sept. 7. The girls started crafting with their mom at a young age. Alinea homes to be an environmentalist one day, while Ellie plans to be an interior designer.

Illustrator and retired Prescott teacher Jean Halverson had a booth showcasing the book she published with author Kelly Johnson, another Prescott teacher. “Grandma & Grandpa’s Great Loop Adventure” details Johnson’s journey on a boat with her husband.

Country music singer songwriter Gary Growden performed at Prescott Daze noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. He has performed with many famous musicians, such as Neil Diamond, Roy Clark, Don Williams and more.

Fairy Wonderland Park in the St. Croix Bluffs neighborhood was filled with food trucks and fun activities on Friday, Sept. 6. A few rain showers came and went but the evening ended on a beautiful note.
