PRESCOTT – I hope you didn’t miss the postponed pontoon ride. It was a beautiful day for it Monday. Summer is hanging on, so walking group and pickleball will continue to meet outdoors.
Coming activities:
Wednesday, Sept. 18: Program & Publicity committees meet at 10:15 a.m., in room G5. From 12:30-3:30 p.m., cards will be played with Bridge, Euchre and maybe 500! Or choose game of your choice.
Thursday, Sept. 19: Pickleball will be played at 9 a.m. at Lions Park next to the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. Movie to be viewed at 1 p.m. is “The Grapes of Wrath,” John Steinbeck’s book about the Great Depression.
Friday, Sept. 20: Memory Cafe meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank Community Room (lower level).
Tuesday, Sept. 24: Pickleball at 9 a.m. outside at Lions Park across from the Prescott Intermediate School on Elm Street. Walking group meets at the Gathering Place parking lot at 9 a.m. Mahjongg will be played at 9 a.m. at Joy Lutheran Church (1435 St. Croix St.)
Wednesday, Sept. 25: Join your friends for cards, Euchre, bridge or game of your choice.
Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott. Gathering Place hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. See schedule for morning activity times. Gathering Place welcomes all seniors 55 and older. Bring a friend and enjoy great activities.
