The Ellsworth Senior Center would like to invite all senior citizens age 50 and greater to the following events to be held at the senior center:

Come and join the Pool Players from 1-3 p.m. every Monday and Friday. 

Euchre Card Players will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 and 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to come.

The Ellsworth Senior Center is planning an outing on Wednesday, Nov. 8 to Treasure Island for a Branson Country Christmas “Special Tribute to Veterans” featuring the Ozark Jubilee noon show. We will be meeting at the senior center to carpool. Call us at 715-273-5873 for more information.

Discovering Together Tuesday, scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, will feature Christopher L. Kolakowski, Director of the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, who will join us virtually to share a presentation called: The Korean War: An Overview. We'll learn about Korea being an active battleground between 1950 and 1953, in a conflict that was the first United Nations war. Kolakowski will give an overview of the war, its context, and relevance today. A light lunch will be provided following the presentation.

Our new Balanced Wellness Presentation with CJ Young from Country fit will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15. We will be discussing the social, physical, and cognitive benefits of group fitness.

Celebrating Seniors Gathering will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 29. We will be having Jessi Willenbring, Director of the Ellsworth Area Ambulance Services, who will bring some equipment for a little show and tell. Medical alert buttons, other injury prevention information and some information packets etc. that are of interest to local seniors.

Unless otherwise stated, all events are at the Ellsworth Senior Center, located in the basement of the old Ellsworth Public Library at 312 W. Main St. Please park in the back parking lot and enter through the back door.
