ELLSWORTH – The autumn free community clothing exchange will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4 in the Zion Covenant Church Community Center (201 N. Beulah St., Ellsworth).
Drop off your gently used (still wearable) clothing from newborn to adult sizes between 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2. Volunteers will organize clothing based on size; labeling bags helps volunteers in the sorting process. Those who drop off items will get a ticket to “shop” first on Saturday morning.
Ticket holder shopping will be open 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. The exchange is then open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Bags and boxes will be available, but feel free to bring your own as well.
No fee or donation is required to “shop.” Items left over will be donated to a local charity.
Shoes and books are also welcome. Please do not bring furniture, toys, bedding or other household items.
